McCain's New Message Fuehrer
About all I can suggest is, that Barack Obama should hire Pandagon's (formerly of John Edwards' campaign) Amanda Marcotte, and let the good times roll! Now that John McCain has hired Michael Goldfarb (via Blogometer, "6/4: A Tale Of Three Speeches"), everything the notoriously temperamental Arizona senator has said before might now sound anodyne.
Goldfarb has made several notable, and polarizing appearances on bhTV, where he excels at a most infuriating brand of optimizing obfuscation expressed with a fratboy's privileged sense of toughness. Putting Goldfarb where he can massage language, and hopefully not have to offer facts, is an invitation to a mud wrestling match, not walking across the aisles. McCain's campaign just lost a lot of class by assigning a sheriff to police the blogosphere, when all he needs to do is present the facts and himself openly.
