Swept Under the Convention Floor

DNC: Don't bother us about rules, or substantive reform!

The Dem's Rules (or, is that «Recommendations») Committee bent over and just shit over its head and seated the «Michiganders» and «Floridians». And, the balls!

Michigan party leaders, however, suggested Sunday they intend to continue fighting for an earlier primary date. The Democratic party plans to set up a committee this week to make recommendations for reforms by 2010.

I won't hold my breath about what reform means. It's definitely not national reform that Michigan wants. In 2012, wait for a primary season that begins and ends in January. Oh well, nothing learned?

I'm with you on this one. I can understand the worries about disgruntled Dems (thanks, Hillary!), but you do have to wonder what not following through on the stated punishments will mean four years from now.

Or, optimistically, eight.
