Dishes and Double Standards
As I try just to read the papers and watch diavlogs in the privacy of my own abode, the screaming monsters across the street are back at it. After last weekend's holiday dose of a wife's slapping her husband for relegating her to kitchen duty while he continued to philander and booze, tonight he's smashing dishes and berating her for adultery. This transpires as the kids witness it and sob.
I joked to my wife, that we should place a few loud speakers on the roof, and blast ABBA into their windows. The neighbors are feebly resigned to ignoring them, and hope for a divorce. I just hope they finish their spectacle before I go to bed.
